Fine for 0,49$ if you're bored to death.. As a high schooler who is set to graduate in a few months, this visual novel stuck out to me. Yuka Kishimoto is facing questions that can apply to high schoolers anywhere. What's next? Should I go to college? Where should I go to college? What should I major in? What if I don't know what to major in? Is it wrong to not go to college? These are all questions that Yuka faces now that the reality of graduating high school has set in.Note that I have not played the sequel yet. These are just my thoughts on the first one.ProsA relatable castNon-romantic endings as an optionTells it's story well enough for what it wants to sayConsEndings are really short. Lacked a lot of the deep conversation that was expected. It just felt short and abrupt. The art. The characters lack changes in facial expression. In my opinion, the characters felt a little out of place with the real life picture backgrounds. It was nice, but it still felt off.Recommended for anyone with an extra hour of time on their hands who wants to read a simple, yet meaningful story.. It's pretty♥♥♥♥♥♥to be honest. I mean its only two quid but in the end its not really worth.. This Visual Novel is a very short glimpse of what happens in the lives of teenagers on the verge of becoming members of society, and it turns out it's pretty heartwarming. Wether it's the writing or the characters, I fancied that game, especially the character art and for its price, it's a really good visual novel especially for newcomers.I have to admit I didn't like the backgrounds, they didn't go well with the characters design and the UI is non existant.Recommended if you want to chill out for an hour (or two) and enjoy a nice story.. Knowing that this was a short game, I bought it for the heck of it to try it out. It was alright, but not great. The stock images didn't bother me too much, but a lot of the phrasing was awkward and clunky. My biggest concern is the endings. No matter what choice you make, it only takes about a minute or less to wrap up each route and the romances felt fake and exaggerated. I also really wish more time had been spent on Michiko or Yuri who I felt were the most interesting characters in the bunch.. It's a nice short story about coming of age, life choices, friendship and first love. It's also a very "normal" story, no big plot twists or surprises, verly little drama and it feels very 'real' and relatable because of this. It touches on the pressures of life as a young adult in modern Japan, and I was surprised to learn that it was not made by a Japanese studio. I missed the autoscroll function though...Worth a read if you like virtual novels about young love and Japanese culture. 7/10. Bravo on the Yuri option! Wasn't sure what to expect. I was plesantly surprised about the story content. Something a bit more real to life.. The music and dialogue, I can forgive, but what the ♥♥♥♥? Everything happens so quickly and ends abruptly, so the opportunity for development feels abandoned. The story and characters really could've been fleshed out more. Also, speaking of the characters, they are designed terribly. I feel like I'm looking at cut-outs that have been distorted by water. The last thing I won't forgive are the backgrounds. Digitally inserted stock photos, I presume? Good news is that the sequel already appears to be more visually appealing at first glance, so I hope I'm not getting set up for disappointment.. I think i got this game for free during a limited time, Thought it might be worth the read. I couldnt find any enjoyment in it. I've been spoiled by all of the better quality visual novels. The poses and expressions are static, I could really careless about any of their situations. Some of the stock images are pretty but mix that with the messy sketch art style of the characters it really clashes. The Music is alright, a bit loud, with no real way to turn it down in game. so i played with it muted. I finished it within an hour, reading everything. Its just not my cup of tea. 2/10
